Raise3D moves 3D printed car 4S shop into TCT booth.

In September 2023, at the TCT Asia Exhibition, Raise3D made a stunning debut, presenting all the technology accumulation in the past three years. Its booth design is unique, integrating elements of a sports pop-up store, a super "print farm," and an automobile 4S store, fully demonstrating its excellent application capabilities in different parts fields. It is particularly worth mentioning that Raise3D has also specially set up a new energy vehicle after-sales and modification exhibition area to highlight its strong strength in the automotive industry.

Raise3D's 3D printing technology is revolutionary for automotive after-sales services and modification shops. As new energy 4S stores gradually gather in central business districts, rapid response to customer needs has become particularly important. Raise3D's printer can efficiently print out the required modifications or repair parts, achieving immediate results and greatly improving service efficiency.

At this exhibition, Raise3D also launched a new industrial-grade 3D printer RMF500, specially built for the automotive industry trial production and aftermarket. The new RMF500 is equipped with HyperFFF™ technology, which may be the world's first device to apply active vibration-damping high-speed 3D printing technology to industrial-grade products. Its printing accuracy and speed have reached industry-leading levels.

Audi uses large-format 3D printing to create car seats

German Audi Motors, together with Braunschweig University of the Arts and BigRep, successfully launched a 3D-printed car seat called "Concept Breathe." The design of this seat not only focuses on appearance and comfort but also emphasizes interaction with the driver.

3D printing revolutionizes the automotive industry

The seat design team used innovative algorithms and parametric design principles to successfully create an integrated seat structure through BigRep's large-format 3D printing technology. This technique allows the seat's complex organic shape to be perfectly reproduced while reducing assembly time and costs. The highlight of the seat is its 38 custom movable components that create a tactile and visual "breathing" effect, allowing the seat to respond based on the driver's reactions. The red movable parts not only improve the responsiveness of the seat but also adapt to changing driving conditions, bringing a new driving experience to the driver.

The successful implementation of this project highlights the huge potential of 3D printing in the automotive industry. It can not only quickly manufacture complex parts and prototypes but also explore more innovative design concepts. Through 3D printing technology, the automotive industry can bring innovative solutions to market faster and meet the growing consumer demand for vehicle performance and appearance.

Ferrari used 3D printing technology to develop the 499P supercar.

Ferrari will return to the top FIA WEC competition in 2023 and launch the new Le Mans supercar 499P. This model is not only a tribute to the history of the Prancing Horse manufacturer but also a symbol of Ferrari's return to Le Mans after many years. The design of 499P makes full use of modern technology, in which 3D printing technology plays a key role. The steering wheel in particular, as one of the most complex elements in the vehicle, was manufactured using additive manufacturing technology for multiple iterations of prototyping. The steering wheel has more than 500 components, all of which have been carefully conceived and extensively developed, from the 3D design to the layout to the functions and electronics behind it.

In addition, 499P also adopts a new carbon fiber monocoque chassis, double-wishbone push-rod suspension and an electronic system developed based on GT racing experience, demonstrating the cutting-edge level of motorsports technology. The braking system is equally complex, integrating a brake-by-wire system designed to combine precision and responsiveness with reliability and durability.

The electric front axle uses the energy recovered during braking, stores it in a high-voltage battery, and then transmits torque to the front wheels when reaching a certain speed, improving the performance of the car on the track.
